Hello! My name is Manola Silva-Hanson and I am a current Senior at New World School of the Arts. I was born in Minneapolis, MN and currently live in Miami, FL. I love creating Pinterest boards, hiking, painting/drawing people, and flower hunting.

I’ve been in love with art since I learned how to talk. I drew portraits of myself and family, created stories, and was determined to be like Frida Khalo at age 7. I am inspired by my Mexican and Norwegian culture and my experience as a mixed race individual. I love combining nature elements of all my homes: Miami, Minnesota, Mexico, and Norway. 

I love painting, paper-making, sketching, sculpting, filmmaking, and creating stamps! I love learning new pattern making techniques and hope to broaden my art making to all sorts of practices.
